Malibu, CA – Last weekend, a new commercial for Passages Malibu came to television. By the end of the week, the number of people checking themselves in was at an all time high.
The addiction treatment facility has seen many different celebrities over the years from Jodie Sweetin to Ben Affleck and has seen some of the wealthiest people from all over the world. It is know widely as the biggest and most expensive treatment center in Malibu and clients are allowed a lot more freedom than other centers.
“After the commercial aired, cars poured into the parking lot,” Co-founder, Chris Prentiss, told us in an interview. “It got to the point where there weren’t any rooms left.”
“A lot of the people didn’t even look like they had been addicts for that long,” said Tim Wallingford, a doctor at the facility.
