New York, NY – People magazine named John Krasinski as Sexiest Man Alive. The man who once played goofy, but lovable Jim Halpert on The Office has gone on too start in big blockbuster action films like 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, A Quiet Place and Amazon Prime’s Jack Ryan series.
Copies of the magazine have been flying off of the shelves from bodegas, to airports, to convenience stores, as fans of the Bostonian want a hard copy of the publication. The last few years have seen actors like Patrick Dempsey and Marvel’s Chris Evans, Paul Rudd, and Michael B. Jordan taking the honor.
But this year, a magazine took a swing and a miss by nominating Chuck Winslow as Sexiest Man Not Alive. Winslow died last week after choking on a apple.
When People magazine announced the cover of their latest issue, “Sexist Man Dead,” fans around the world wondered if it was a dark joke, a printing error, or simply the magazine giving up on subtlety. Within minutes, copies were swiftly removed from shelves, but not before social media had a field day with the scandalous cover.
